Rude manager
Rude manager. I leave this gym next month just because of him. Bold and moody manager bad attitude. If they not sack him they loose many members

Debt collector on long-standing member
I was a member of Nuffield Health Cannon Street for many years until they terminated their contract with my employer. Nuffield Health thought it necessary to put a debt collector on me because they had not received their final monthly payment from me after my bank account details had changed. Unbelievable. Cannon Street is a good sized gym, but badly managed.
No reply to contact forms and a poor agent
I don’t expect or want a reply but want to share my experience.
No replies to 2 contact form requests
Today spoke to an agent who wasn’t listening to my questions and had a rude telephone manner.
V poor, hopefully the medical booked will be better.
Oxford
Not as nice as you’d expect it to be. Toilets are often in need of a clean, showers smell like a sewer and need work. Many of the people that go there aren’t friendly, same for most of the staff. The club closes at 8pm at the weekend, and 10pm during the week which is to early. Classes are mainly during the day when people will be at work. Even the cafe closes early. The gym has an odd layout. Be nice if they had a women only area. All of the above needs to be addressed and changed. The water feature outside has green water pumping out of it. The outdoor pool often has people sitting around it in the nice weather like they’re on holiday. Not worth the money.
No help to me.
I filled out their online form for private medical tests/treatment as the NHS waiting list was so long. That was many weeks ago and I have not had the courtesy of a reply. I now have an NHS appointment so I’m pleased I didn’t chase them up. What a way to conduct a business.
This was directed at Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Kingswood Road.
Avoid for customer service
I had a 1 day gym pass to try. When entered the gym it was hot inside. Then I got advised that the air on was not working. So I couldn’t do a good workout from sweating more then ever. I asked if I can have a trial session or another pass but got told only one allowed. So if they give you something for free take it with a pinch of salt. ! Going to David Lloyds instead now!!

I have been at Nuffield
I have been at Nuffield, Nuneaton for a couple of months now.
There has been no air-conditioning in the gym, only a couple of fans on the floor.
It is unbearable to workout and there have been a couple of times where I have felt like I could pass out.
Have asked what is going on and just get a generic response that it will be sorted soon.
For the amount of membership fees it should be a given the air-con is working.
Really not happy, height of summer and there's no cold air, really not good!! ?
New Nuneaton member
New Nuneaton member,
it's Just too hot too do anything, No air conditioning and can't open the windows so it's effectively like training in a greenhouse. Apparently there waiting for a part for over 6 month's, ?. I have to go into the sauna to cool down. Shame really.
Disorganised and Unprofessional
Booked stoke poges for health assessment on 7.07.22 for 8:30am got a call same day at 7:15am to notify me that my appointment has been cancelled.
Tells a lot about Nuffield and how disorganised and unprofessional they are, utter waste of time.
Nuffield Wolverhampton - use as a last resort
Only one disabled shower for the men, staff are not interested and the equipment has seen better days.
The classes were good but show as full with only a few turning up and booked up well in advanced.
Told to use another facility when raising concerns

Attended Paddington, City and Covent Garden Gym and enjoyed it, clean, vast and the staff members are always polite and helpful.

Disappointing and Now I'm Stuck
I joined Nuffield Fountainpark after moving to Edinburgh.
I have to say that the classes that I would like to join are always fully booked. They also have some interesting classes, like Latin Dance, which they just plop in at 10 on a Tuesday, I don't think that's very reasonable for people who have jobs.
It also looks as if they have waaayyyy too many people for the gym considering the size, it's actually just uncomfortable.
And my last pet peeve, they only open at 6:30, I like morning training, but I start work at 8, so this isn't viable.
I have a yearly contract, so I'm in a bit of a pickle.
I come from a 3rd world country and I had way better experiences of gyms in terms of quality and services than here, which actually makes no sense.

The Cwmbran gym is poorly managed and…
The Cwmbran gym is poorly managed and equipment is old and constantly out of use. The staff doesn't care when you raise concerns. I have sent emails to Nuffield corporate through their complaints process and I never even get a response. Avoid this gym and go somewhere else.

Extremely disappointed with the service.
Extremely disappointed with the change of the app, I've not been able to book any aqua classes on nearly 2 months, when I called to my club on 3 occasions I was told I would have to contact the app company myself to resolve the issue.
I requested my membership to be cancelled at the end of June and requested they refund me July's payment that request was refused.
I didn't ask for the app to be changed so why should I have to resolve any issues.
I'll be looking at joining a different organisation in due course.
I visited Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells, with my disabled brother
I visited Nuffield Health with my disabled brother. We are on the NHS, not private, (Tunbridge Wells Centre). We needed an MRI. Terry, the radiologist was simply AMAZING, with such gallantry and kindness and total patience. In these times when health staff are worked off their feet, it was so lovely to have such kindness bestowed. Thank you Terry, and thank you Nuffield Health.
